Amar Sijerčić

I’m Amar, a software developer and graphic designer from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. For more than a decade, I’ve been working in web development, UI/UX design, and graphic design, helping businesses, startups, and educational projects create engaging digital experiences and strong visual identities.

My journey started with web and graphic design, but over the years I became increasingly focused on user experience and interface design — finding the balance between aesthetics, usability, and functionality. Along the way, I’ve worked as a co-founder, creative director, developer, and educator on a wide variety of projects across the tech, education, and marketing industries.

I enjoy combining creative thinking with technical problem solving, which is why I naturally moved toward blending software development with design. Throughout my career, I’ve continuously challenged myself through certifications, business competitions, and hackathons, always looking for opportunities to grow and improve both creatively and technically.

I’m fluent in Bosnian, English, and German, which allows me to work comfortably with international teams and clients from different cultural backgrounds. For me, great design and development are not just about creating something visually appealing, but about building digital products that people genuinely enjoy using.
