We crafted a sophisticated, user-centric e-commerce store with intricate Webflow customizations and MemberStack integration.
Headstart L&D, a UK-based venture, embarked on creating a complex web application and e-commerce store as part of a larger system encompassing their brand. Our journey with them involved designing and developing both the external and internal pages of this multifaceted web platform, which included an e-commerce store and a training platform connected to it.
Our design team faced the exciting challenge of working with Headstart L&D's distinct and vibrant brand identity. The brand's essence is captured through bright colors, bold text, and unconventional layouts – elements that make it stand out instantly. This unique aesthetic needed to be seamlessly integrated into the web design to maintain brand consistency across various systems.
The website's development involved intricate custom solutions within Webflow to accommodate the advanced functionalities required. Our development team had to ensure the website was not only visually striking but also fully functional, catering to the unique needs of Headstart L&D’s services.
Utilizing Figma, we created designs for both external (publicly accessible) and internal (restricted, login-required) pages, ensuring each design element resonated with the brand’s unconventional style.
To handle memberships and other functionalities, we integrated MemberStack with the Webflow site. This addition allowed for nuanced control over user access, subscriptions, and billing details.
A key aspect of the website is its e-commerce capabilities, tailored to user subscriptions. Depending on their subscription tier, users can access products either for free or at varied price points. This tier-based system adds a layer of exclusivity and encourages user engagement with the platform.
The site features an exclusive blog (a knowledge base) accessible only to registered users, enhancing the value of membership. Additionally, registered users gain access to training modules, connecting them to external systems seamlessly integrated into the web application.
Throughout development, we ensured the website adhered to SEO best practices. This included creating categories and author pages for blog articles, optimizing alt tags, and structuring content to enhance discoverability on search engines.
The final product was not only aligned with their unique brand identity but also offered a comprehensive and user-friendly digital experience. The system (despite being a complex one) was handed over in great condition for the client-side testing, where a bigger group of both internal and external beta testers (about 40 people in total) tested the system and found absolutely no functional issues (bugs) in the developed product.
