The Implementation

1. Defining the Brand's Story and Values

To establish a strong brand identity, the story behind JI&ZI was carefully crafted. The mission and vision of the company were defined to emphasize the importance of providing comfortable and stylish clothing that promotes confidence in customers. The brand's core values were outlined as follows:

  • Confidence
  • Taking chances
  • Simplicity
  • All-natural

2. Crafting a Brand Persona

Recognizing the importance of connecting with a diverse audience, JI&ZI's brand persona was designed to be inclusive and relatable. The brand speaks to everyone, regardless of their background, size, or color, ensuring that everyone feels represented and valued by the company.

3. Symbol

The JI&ZI logo and symbol were meticulously designed to create a unique and versatile visual identity.

The symbol is composed of the letter J and is legible at most sizes, and a small version is provided for micro applications, to use when needed.

The symbol should be used as a complimentary element, as app icons, and a favicon. Its minimum size is 20 pixels, keeping in mind the wright of the stroke.

4. Logo

4.1. Safe Space

Safe space around the logo is the distance that must be kept between the logo and any other elements used in any design, aside from background elements, such as patterns, as long as the logo maintains a dominant appearance.

4.2. Instances

The instances of the logo come in two. The vertical instance is given priority. It is possible to alternate between the two instances in accordance of what we are designing. The tagline is consistent with the use of the logo and may not be removed.

4.3. Background Usage

The logo can be combined with any background, but the number one priority is to maintain the dominance of the logo. Avoidance of similar colors is highly recommended. 

4.4. General Logo Rules

There are several rules one should keep in mind when using the logo in order not to broke it. It is crucial not to cut the logo or change its transparency, color, size and position. Also recommended to avoid using effects (e.g shadow) and busy areas of live background.

5. Visual Assets on Packaging

For the JI&ZI project we’ve crafted visually appealing designs for paper bags, recyclable packaging, and shipping materials to enhance the overall customer experience. We've tried to keep the core principles of the brand and design to combine sustainability and style at the highest possible level.
