Healthy lifestyle and webshop integration

The Fannizero project aimed to create a mobile application that complements an existing webshop offering "free-from" and healthy lifestyle products. The development focused on enhancing user experience and providing custom content delivery. The app functions as a digital companion, providing tools for conscious nutrition alongside a direct shopping experience.

Key Features and Integrations

• Embedded Webshop: Users can browse and purchase products directly from the embedded webshop, which focuses on gluten-free, lactose-free, and additive-free items.
• Recipe Library & Calorie Counter: Users can browse Fanni’s unique recipes, supported by a built-in calorie tracking feature to maintain a healthy diet.
• ShopRenter SSO Integration: We have successfully implemented user synchronization between the mobile application and ShopRenter. If someone already has an account on the website, they can immediately use the mobile app with the same credentials - no need to create a new account. The webshop and the mobile app are fully synchronized.

Custom Administration System

A core pillar of the project is the custom-built backend administration interface, providing the client with full control:

• Content Management: The client can independently manage recipes and other content through this interface.
• User Management: The admin system provides a transparent interface for managing registered users.
• Centralized Control: Since the app is built on hybrid technology, any updates made through the admin panel are managed efficiently.

Technology and Implementation

We utilized a modern and scalable technology stack for this project:

• Frontend: A Next.js-based hybrid solution, converted for mobile use via Capacitor.
• Design: The complete UI/UX was designed in Figma.
• Backend & Infrastructure: Supabase is used for database management, and the system is hosted in a Vercel environment.

The Fannizero project illustrates how an existing e-commerce system can be extended with custom software solutions. We didn't just build a mobile app; we created a complex backend infrastructure that simplifies administration for the client while delivering significant added value to their customers.
