Client Overview and Project Inception
Originally named Copywise, Persuva started as an Ireland-based project focused on automating sales copy creation for advertisements. When Peter, the client, approached us, the platform had already attracted more than 700 users, validating the core idea but still requiring significant improvements to reach its full potential. Our goal was to transform the early-stage tool into a scalable AI-powered marketing and content generation platform capable of supporting a broader range of users and use cases.
System Redesign and Technical Transformation
The original platform was built using a no-code/low-code stack with WeWeb and Supabase. While it allowed the product to launch quickly, it also limited the implementation of more advanced features. To support the long-term vision of the project, we transitioned the system toward a fully custom-coded solution.
During the redesign, we also analyzed the existing user journey and found that the workflow was unnecessarily complex. By rebuilding the system structure, we reduced the process from 36 steps to just 5 key steps, significantly simplifying the user experience.

To help new users get started more easily, we also created a dedicated onboarding interface that guides them through the platform and its core features.

The application itself was developed using Next.js for both frontend and backend functionality, with Supabase serving as the database layer. User-facing pages of the website were built in Webflow. Because of the tight timeline, design and development progressed simultaneously, with interfaces designed in Figma while implementation happened in parallel in Webflow and Next.js.


A substantial part of the development process involved extensive AI prompt engineering. Since the platform relies heavily on AI-generated outputs, a large amount of experimentation and refinement was necessary to ensure the generated marketing content remained consistent, relevant, and high quality.
Features and Platform Capabilities
Persuva’s legacy system enables users to generate multiple types of marketing content tailored to different stages of audience awareness. During the development, we expanded this system with new features. It now also supports generating product pages, landing pages, and advertorials.

One of the platform’s key marketing tools is its AI-powered audience generation system. Users can generate detailed audience insights for each product they create, including pain points, motivations, aspirations, and behavioural patterns, helping them craft more targeted and effective campaigns.

Alongside these capabilities, the user interface was refined to provide a cleaner and more intuitive experience. Inspired by the clarity of tools like Notion, the platform includes a structured dashboard, workspace organization, and project and product management features. Performance issues present in the earlier system were also resolved, making the platform significantly faster and more stable.

Shopify Theme and Ecosystem Expansion
As part of the project, the Persuva Shopify theme was also almost completely rebuilt and expanded with a large number of new components. Legacy users can still access the original version of the theme, while new users automatically receive the updated version.

Beyond the core application, Persuva also includes a strategy hub with exclusive e-books, a knowledge base, and regularly updated marketing resources. The marketing website itself was redesigned into a modern, light-themed interface with around 100 pages of content including blog posts, guides, and case studies.

Results
Within just five weeks, we delivered an MVP that already exceeded the capabilities of the original system. Shortly after, Persuva successfully secured venture capital funding, validating both the product and the direction of the platform.
Conclusion
The Persuva project demonstrates how an early-stage product can evolve into a powerful and scalable platform through strategic redesign, modern development technologies, and strong focus on user experience. By rebuilding the system, improving performance, refining the UI, introducing advanced AI marketing tools, and expanding the ecosystem with features like audience generation, onboarding, and a redesigned Shopify theme, we helped position Persuva for long-term growth in the marketing technology space.
